GRAPE SODA

Fizz

This carbonated sweater served up some severe nostalgia for me this week. #1 being the scene from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory when Charlie and Uncle Joe grab ahold of the Fizzy Lifting drinks. #2 may be a little more obscure, but does anyone remember Britney Spears' song "Soda Pop"?! Oh, good me either... 😬

I found this sweater over the summer on a website that everyone should know about: The RealReal. The RealReal is an authenticated luxury consignment marketplace where you can buy and sell luxury goods from top designers across women’s and men’s fashion, fine jewelry & watches, fine art and home. They even offer monthly payments through Affirm. !!!!?! Are you freaking out because you should be. If you find Dior Conquest pumps in a size 6, let a sister know.

A large chunk of my Pinterest style board is splattered with Moschino from several collections. Jeremy Scott delivers playful, reinventive, welcomingly tacky silhouettes and designs season after season. This bubbly sweater is retro and dynamic--I couldn't type in my shipping address quickly enough.

I'm not one to layer statement pieces, I prefer to let one shine solo. These Madewell jeans are unique enough to compliment with their raw hem, cigarette cut, and high waist.

The finishing touch to nearly all of my outfits is a great sneaker. I received these eggplant Adidas for Christmas about three years ago and have never been able to find the same hue since. (Speaking of more reminiscing, I wanted my own pair of black with white striped Adidas Samba ever since Hermione Granger wore them in the third Harry Potter installment.)

Below are some links to items similar to my outfit as well as some other statement sweaters. 🌈
