PLUS, THE BEST SWIMSUITS AND MAXI DRESSES FOR THIS SUMMER SEASON

Holy crap. Finally posting this travel photo diary! Back in December, Potsy and I went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic to ring in the New Year. I fully planned on recapping this trip as soon as I returned, but then veered off course and decided to take a blogging hiatus. So here it is!

The weather was perfect and only rained once: coincidentally when the clock hit about 12:03 AM on January 1st. The resort had a casino (black jack is my hidden talent) and a consequently delicious drink to keep you betting until sunrise: an espresso martini. I was up with an alarmingly fast heartbeat at 4am and that was the last of them. Made some vacation-friends and drank so many freaking coco locos, I was peeing nothing but rum. We swam with dolphins and went mudding in four-wheelers around the island. Our resort was a little touristy, something Potsy and I aren't used to, but it was relaxing and breathtaking and I managed to leave without a sunburn.
