Happy Halloween!

Autumn season attracts the richest hues from everyone’s wardrobe. The mustard turtlenecks, crimson plaid flannels, olive henleys; all paired with the foolproof neutral of denim in any wash or wear. Although I appreciate the muted palette and the accompanying cozy feeling, I am fond of contrast.

Intricate and carefree, I immediately gravitated towards this billowy embroidered blouse. Structured foundationally by a button front denim skirt, the pairing felt balanced. Octobers in Nashville are fickle. Brisk mornings replaced by muggy middays often make getting dressed laborious.

Twists in my wardrobe accommodate for my personality. My sneakers and socks lean on the 1970s side of the spectrum. Olympic stripe tube socks and quintessential sandy Converse high tops. Muddying the waters of feminine and masculine is my closet blueprint!
