4TH OF JULY: Avoiding the Bomb Pop Look (For Under $50!)
Independence Day
A mid-summer celebration equipped with a body of water, potential decapitation by rogue fireworks, and of course… booze! I’ve always struggled with dressing appropriately for this occasion and even have difficulty finding decorations that don’t make my house feel even more kitschy than it already is.
Since no one wants to commit too much effort to this holiday, I’ve rounded up the best 50+ pieces under $50 to supplement the red, white, and blue pieces already living in your closet.
My advice on how to not show up feeling like a bomb pop is to stick to one of the 3 colors and choose one of the remaining 2 as an accent. Also, incorporate other summer trends (below!) into your look as a way to remain true to your own style and not as if you’re donning a costume.
However you decide to spend your 4th of July, I hope this guide helps your bottom half look good in case of decapitation!
